Statuses

Always share correct versions of documents, with full control over approvals and access

With the statuses within Prostream, you easily manage the progress and approval of documents. You can assign files a status such as approved, rejected or final. That way, you keep control over which versions are available. The names of the statuses are fully customisable to fit your working methods. Moreover, you decide who is allowed to see documents with which status, so that you protect sensitive information and only share the correct versions with the team and external parties.

All about ISO 19650 and how a CDE helps with that.

The benefits of statuses

More control over document versions

Keep control over which document versions are used and by whom.

Adapt to your working method

Customise standard statuses to the specific requirements of your construction project.

Secure access to documents

Determine who has access to which documents so that you shield sensitive information.

With the statuses in Prostream, you determine which versions of documents are used and by whom. That way, you avoid errors and miscommunication.

You can customise the default statuses (approved, rejected, final) to the specific needs of your construction project. You can adjust this at both organisational and project level. That way, the statuses match how your team works. Consider this ISO 19650 example.

By assigning the right statuses to documents, you ensure that team members and external parties are always working with the correct, approved versions. This ensures greater clarity and efficiency.

With statuses in Prostream, you determine who can view which documents with a certain status. That way, you shield sensitive information and only share the relevant data with the right team or external partners.

Answer to

Frequently asked questions about statuses

What exactly are statuses?

Statuses in Prostream are labels that allow you to manage the approval status of documents, such as approved, rejected or final, to keep control over which versions are used and by whom. You can also customise the labels to fit your workflow.

How exactly do statuses work?

Select the version of a file. Choose the checkmark to approve a file, the prohibition sign to reject it or the snowflake to finalise that version.

To adapt this way of working to your preferences, you can change the names of approve, reject and finalise in the settings of your project or organisation.
