What is Metadata and labels?
Labeling is going to be fun! If you attach tags and metadata to your folders and documents, they automatically follow the steps in your project. No more manual dragging, labeling once is enough.
How does Metadata and labels work?
Create items in order to create metadata sets and link them to your folders and documents.
A metadata item is a field with a certain type of value. Think, for example, of a number field, date field or text field. In Prostream, you’ve got several types of items: Date, Number, Yes/No option, Choice, Status and Text.
When creating a new metadata item, you choose which type applies to your item. Metadata items are necessary to create a metadata set.
What are the benefits of Metadata and labels?
By adding metadata items and sets you can make folders and documents even more personal. It also makes it easier to find information.
Place Snags containing your observations on, for example, a technical drawing. Use a photo, a drawing, a geographical map or even a 3D model as a basis for your observations.
Thanks to a powerful preview function, you can immediately see the content of a document on all your devices.
To make every project a masterpiece, you don't want to keep reinventing the wheel. That is why Prostream groups tasks that have to be performed in a fixed order in a procedure, so that you can reuse them with every project.
Merge documents into 'smart folders' by means of document attributes, metadata or statuses and always find the information that is important to you.
