Always log on securely
With an extra layer of security, your data is always safe
Within Prostream, the security of your data is paramount. That is why we offer various ways to log in securely. Do you use a Microsoft 365 account? Then you can log in easily and securely with our Single Sign On (SSO) option. This allows you to use your Microsoft account to access Prostream, without additional passwords. In addition, you can strengthen the security of your account with multi-factor authentication (MFA). By adding an extra verification step, such as a code via SMS, you provide an extra layer of protection against unwanted access. In the near future, we will add SCIM so that your organisation can be even better secured and managed.
The advantages of always logging in securely
Protect your data from unwanted access
With secure login methods such as single sign on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA), personal and corporate data are better protected against unauthorised access. This minimises the risk of data breaches and cyber attacks.
Log in faster without hassle
Thanks to SSO, users only need to use one account, which makes logging in faster and easier. You log in at the touch of a button. This increases productivity and reduces the hassle of multiple passwords.
Minimise password risks and increase your security
By adding MFA to the login process, a password alone is no longer enough for access. This reduces the risk of errors, such as weak passwords or password reuse, and thus increases the security of your corporate data.
Ensure future-proof security and management
With the future addition of SCIM, organisations can centralise user management and security. This provides a streamlined and secure way to manage users and access rights, preparing the system for future security requirements.
Answer to
Frequently asked questions about logging in securely
What exactly is secure login?
Single Sign On ensures that you only need one set of credentials to log on to all your systems. Make sure that Microsoft Single Sign On is set up for your organisation and you will be able to log in at the touch of a button.
Another option is to set up an extra authentication step, also known as multi-factor authentication, such as Google Authenticator.
How does secure login work?
Once Single Sign On is enabled for your Prostream environment, all you have to do is click Sign in with Microsoft to log in.
Multi-factor authentication requires you to enter your credentials (email address and password) plus a code that you see in the authenticator app on your phone.
