STA Software integration

Eliminate double work: send files directly from Prostream to STA Software

Do you use both a Document Management System (DMS) and STA Software? Then you’re likely familiar with the tedious process: downloading drawings or documents from your DMS, saving them locally, and then uploading them again into STA, with the risk of errors or version mismatches.

With the integration between Prostream and STA Software, that’s a thing of the past. You can now send files (drawings, documents, and IFC models) directly from Prostream into STA. There’s no need to save anything locally, and you always work with the correct version.

⚠️ Good to know: the integration is being rolled out in stages. In this first version, files are manually sent from Prostream to STA Software. Version control remains within Prostream. Files are not yet automatically updated in STA when a new version becomes available. Want to use an updated file during an inspection? Simply push the new version again. Future updates will further automate this workflow — so you’ll spend even less time on manual tasks.

What can you do with the integration?

Use drawings and IFC models during inspections in STA

Drawings and IFC models stored in Prostream can be shared directly with an existing project in STA Software. You can use them as a base layer to place markers or quality points during inspections. The original file remains managed in Prostream, so you always work with the latest version.

Attach documents to inspections

Other documents stored in Prostream, such as delivery slips, certificates, or invoices, can also be pushed to STA and linked to inspection items. This gives your quality control process the full context it needs.
