Notifications

With notifications you ensure that you are always aware of the changes in your project. You can easily set them yourself and determine how often you will receive an e-mail with an overview of the latest changes. In the email you will find a link to a saved search and an overview of the most recent changes.

What are notifications?

Notifications are messages to users. For example, because an action is expected of them. Or because they are waiting for an update on certain actions or documents. It can also just be a notice.

Sending notifications (automatically) is one of the basic functionalities within Prostream. That way, everyone knows what is going on: What is the status of the Wood Garden Lane project? Have the braiders already been? Does the quality controller know about the pouring this Friday? Whose responsibility is that? And has he or she already taken care of that?

How do notifications work?

Prostream automatically sends notifications, by e-mail, to the people you have selected. For example, when a task is ready for them. Or to you as a project leader when:

– New files are added;
– Changes have been made;
– Files have been downloaded;
– The status of a task has changed;
– A task was assigned to you.

In addition, you can mention users in comments at file-level. This way, notifications are also sent by e-mail.

What are the benefits of notifications?

Tight deadlines, material scarcity, plenty to do and a limited number of hands available. As a project leader, you are faced with a number of tough challenges. Notifications within Prostream ensure that the overview within your project team is maintained. Specific people know what, when and how something is expected of them.

So, as a project leader, do you link a deadline to a specific task that needs to be carried out? Then Prostream uses notifications to make sure that the person in question cannot forget that deadline. The project can continue to run according to a tight schedule.

Is there a risk that a task will not be carried out, or will not be carried out properly? Then you can intervene in time. Unnecessary delays are the last thing you need. Not to mention the extra costs that result from it.

Has a task been neatly completed? Then you receive a notification about it and you can let it go. This creates peace of mind, so that you can focus on the next deadline.

THAT’S NOT ALL.
